Out of Left Field...Strange things you were told by elders
by FollowerOfSet injust curious if the crazy was limited to my town or not.. i remember and elder, during a talk about everyone being resurrected that it included all the babies that had miscarried or were aborted, because the big j knew what their hearts were.
after the meeting, he was telling a couple of us how it also disturbed him that his wife would have to carry someone elses babies and he would be raising someone elses children.. another elder said that we would colonize other planets, and that since the bible never said the big j didn't make other inhabited worlds that there was a whole universe of planets to colonize after armageddon.. anyone else hear crazy crap like this?.

There is an Elder in my congregation who I feel dislikes me because I'm inactive and doesn't know what to do with me. He seems to go on his business as soon as I walk in. A couple of times as I was talking with a member of the congregation, he rudely interrupted my conversation and took the person by the shoulder and walked away as if his conversation was more important.
Once I was talking to my mom( who is very sick and has many ailments but still makes it to some meetings)and this self-righteous Elder walks right in our conversation and makes a rude comment about me in front of my mom.
This was the actual coversation we had to show you how self-righteous he is:
Me:''Mom,we will come over sometime this week to visit.''
Mom:''That's fine. We're always home"
Self righteous Elder walks in the middle of our conversation.
Elder:''How are you today?''
Me:''I'm doing good.''
Elder to my mom: ''How are you Mrs------?
Mom: ''Well not too good......you know I have many problems with my health."
Elder:"You may not be as physically healthy as your son but at least you have more spiritual health."

How come people with the least means of supporting themselves ''Pioneer'' ?
by RULES & REGULATIONS inmy cousin told me last week that for the month of february she was ''pioneering''.
here is a person who was divorced 2 years ago and had to move in with her mom because she can't afford to live on her own .she only works 4 days a week.
she pays $600 every 2 months for health insurance because she is self-employed.

My cousin told me last week that for the month of February she was ''Pioneering''. Here is a person who was divorced 2 years ago and had to move in with her mom because she can't afford to live on her own .She only works 4 days a week. She pays $600 every 2 months for health insurance because she is self-employed. Her ex-husband sent only 2 months of child support last year. She will spend extra money on gas and probably lunch for the whole month of February pioneering all for the WTS corporation.

Who is responsible if a Witness falls on your property while preaching?

i looked out the back window and found nothing.

Yesterday morning around 10:00 a.m.,my dog was barking non- stop. I was upstairs and thought maybe a rabbit or bird was in my back yard. I looked out the back window and found nothing. He was still barking non-stop. So,I walk downstairs and see that he is facing the front door and still barking. I look out the window and see two female Witnesses with a little girl around 8 years old. ( I know that they were Witnesses because of the time,they carried book bags,and they had a car with 2 people inside waiting). They never rang my doorbell and must of knocked very lightly.
I look out my front window and see the little girl fall down. Because of ice on my driveway and how steep it is,anyone can fall if you're not careful.They pick her up and walk back to the waiting car.
My question is: If the little girl injured herself,could I get sued? They were uninvited onto my property and were also tresspassing. Do you know of any cases where Witnesses were injured in field service?

i liked the charity videos but i think the most commented on video of mine is the one regarding homosexuality in nature.
e-watchman made a video response to the video which fell right into one of the stereotype answers i've gotten a hundred times on the video.

How does the WTS explain how the battle of Armageddon will be fought?
by RULES & REGULATIONS inarmageddon is a battle in which satan unites the kings of the earth against god's appointed king, christ.. the witnesses teach that the bible uses megiddo as the "symbolic" place of gathering of all the kings of the earth, where they will try to do battle against god and his forces.. it sounds so silly to me now that god and his forces would battle satan?
if god is so powerful,wouldn't he make satan and his demons just disappear?
does god need a sword,rocket,fist,or army tanks to destroy satan?.

It sounds so silly to me now that God and his forces would battle Satan? If God is so powerful,wouldn't he make Satan and his Demons just disappear? Does God need a sword,rocket,fist,or army tanks to destroy Satan?
I don't remember how the WTS explain how this battle would be fought. Is there any information on this silly war?

The great ''WitnissOni'' knows all of his tricks are to deceive everyone with a slight of hand,smoke and mirrors,distractions,and trickery. The WTS know that after 130 years they still need these methods to deceive their members. They use every method they can find to trick all their members. Some people aren't fooled and leave. Most never see that they are being deceived and stay. The WTS will be here for a long time. There might be small decreases of members,less contributions,less printing of books,but they will never ''disappear''.

most of today's jws were not members in 1975 or in the 9 years prior to 1975, so they were not eyewitnesses to what really went on during that period.
i was a pioneer in that period, and i was an eyewitness to what went on.. those jws who are still active today and who were around in that period will typically say it was the "brothers" who "ran ahead of jehovah" and "read more into" the 1975 prediction than what was actually stated.

How many times have you seen fueds between Elders where some don't even talk to each other?
How many members leave the congregation and join another congregation because of genuine hate for one another?
How many are ''marked'' because they are spiritually weak?
How many cliques are there in the congregation?
How many are sick at home or in the hospital where no one visits or calls?
